The Sustainable Construction SPD Checklist has now been adopted. For full details please visit the Sustainable Construction web page.

Local Plan Options

You still have the opportunity to comment on further Local Plan Options.  These include policy approach options for:
• Spatial Strategy, including housing options in the Somer Valley and the rural areas
• Bath
• Keynsham, including the North Keynsham Strategic Development Location
• Whitchurch Strategic Development Location
• Somer Valley
• Development Management policies, focusing on new and reviewed policy areas

You can also comment on transport studies for the Strategic Development Locations (SDLs) proposed for North Keynsham and Whitchurch.
The deadline for commenting on both consultations is 7th January 2019
The Council has also held a number of successful drop-in sessions where local residents could discuss issues with officers. These exhibitions had information on the Local Plan Options, transport studies, Keynsham Town Centre improvements and the Somer Valley Enterprise Zone transport improvements and a preview of the Joint Local Transport Plan 4.

Draft Joint Spatial Plan

Consultation is well underway on the additional technical information for the draft Joint Spatial Plan (JSP) at the request of the Planning Inspectors currently examining the draft JSP.  This consultation also ends on 7th January 2019 but is separate to the Local Plan Options consultation.  Further details on how to comment can be found on the West of England website: https://www.jointplanningwofe.org.uk/consult.ti

Any questions about making a comment, please email info@jointplanningwofe.org.uk
